These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the SnapGrade website, mobile apps, and related services (collectively, the “Service”) provided by SnapGrade (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
SnapGrade is intended for use by parents and guardians to assist with children’s homework. If you are under the age of 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. Parents/guardians are responsible for the child’s use of the Service.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use or security breach.
SnapGrade uses AI to analyse images of homework and generate feedback. AI output may be incorrect or incomplete and should be reviewed by an adult. SnapGrade does not replace a teacher, tutor, or professional advice.
You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service. You confirm you have rights and permissions to upload such content.
Our collection and use of personal data are described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you agree to that policy. Do not upload sensitive personal data that is not necessary for homework analysis.
Some features may be offered as paid subscriptions in app stores. Prices, billing cycles, and cancellation terms are shown at purchase. Taxes may apply. Refunds are subject to app-store policies unless otherwise required by law.
The Service (including trademarks, graphics, software, and UI) is owned by SnapGrade or its licensors and is protected by law. Except for the limited rights granted here, you receive no licence to our IP.
We may integrate third-party services (e.g., AI providers, analytics, app stores). Their terms and privacy practices apply in addition to ours. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee accuracy, availability, or that the Service will be error-free or secure.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SnapGrade and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenues, arising from your use of the Service. In any case, our total liability will not exceed the greater of £50 or the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold SnapGrade harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms or applicable law.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or pose a risk. You may stop using the Service at any time. Certain provisions survive termination (e.g., IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability).
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new “Effective date.” Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts in England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where local law provides otherwise.
